The Rehoboth Congregational Church Youth Fellowship Program provides a safe and nurturing environment where youth can come together to explore of a life of faith, service and community.
The Youth Fellowship Program offers two Youth Groups for grades five through twelve.
The 5th-7th Grade Youth Group meets frequently throughout the year. Building on the community fostered in their weekly Church School classes, they take part in mission projects and fellowship activities.
The 8th-12th Grade Youth Group meets several times a month, with mission, outreach and community service at the core of their focus. Combining both discussion and hands-on activities, they explore deeper issues of faith and justice. They also strengthen their ties to the RCC community by attending church activities and build friendships with one another through active participation in the fun events planned throughout the year.
Youth Group events may include (but are not limited to):

Superbowl Subs (this is a fundraiser held on the day of the Super Bowl; the youth take sub orders from congregation in the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl and prepare & sell them on the day of event)

Camp Berea Deep Freeze (weekend at Camp Berea, in Hebron, NH)
Camp Berea Summer Camps
Food, Clothing & Toiletry Collections (coordinated by the youth)
Annual Homeless Awareness Weekend (three day campout including opening service, panhandling, making and serving a meal at a soup kitchen, speaker, etc.; collection of donations of money and canned goods; need many adult volunteers; run in conjunction with Attleboro Council of Churches)
Week-long Summer Mission Trip (weeklong destination trip – often organized through YSOP – working at soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, etc.)
5th-8th graders meet for Church School on a weekly basis. They use the Feasting on the Word curriculum. See our Church School page for more information about their classes.
A weekly discussion-based Sunday School class is offered for 9th-12th graders. They do not meet on the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday) and are encouraged to either attend worship or help out in the Church School classrooms.
Confirmation Class is offered every year to the 9th graders at RCC. Rev. Sarah teaches the class, which runs from September to May. Each student is paired up with an adult mentor and engages in a curriculum designed to encourage questions and develop a sense of individual faith. The class meets twice a month – one Sunday night and one Sunday afternoon (the schedule is determined each year.
