Grace and peace, members and friends of the Rehoboth Congregational Church!"
Thank you thank you THANK YOU to everyone who donated to our Giving Tuesday campaign! We raised over $2,400!
The comments on our church Facebook post about Giving Tuesday put the biggest smile on my face all day.
"RCC was a huge part of my life as a youngster and holds many fond memories. More than happy to donate 1721. Happy Holidays."
"Such a small donation considering what we get back in return! I love our Church in the Village!"
"My home church whether I am there or not; I am connected."
"Donation sent! Love our church."
I am humbled by the widespread reach of our village. We are not just our church building. We are not just the people who gather on Sunday morning. We are not just our events and our programs. We are the Body of Christ, called to build community in God's love. We are responding to this call with enthusiasm, and I cannot wait to see what God has in store for us next!
A couple of people have asked me about alternative giving this Christmas season - in other words, making a donation to the church in someone's honor instead of buying them a physical gift. We will absolutely make that opportunity available this year! Cards with our logo will be available for purchase after worship in Fellowship Hall (see Deb Woodard). And feel free to stop by the office during the week.
Please join us on Sunday for the first Sunday in Advent! We will share communion and light the first candle on our Advent wreath, the candle of hope.
See you on Sunday.
In God's love,
- Rev. Sarah

Are you searching for a gift for someone in your life who really doesn't need anything? Consider making a donation to RCC in their honor!
Charitable gift giving is a wonderful way to celebrate the season of giving without the stress that sometimes comes with finding a physical gift. If you would like to donate to RCC in someone's honor this year, cards for any amount will be available for purchase after worship in Fellowship Hall or during the week in the office. If you are not local, but would like to make a donation in someone's honor, please email Rev. Sarah to make arrangements.

We are in the process of updating our RCC member photo display near the elevator. We need to add many new member photos as well as updating those currently displayed. If you have a favorite photo of yourself or your family that is great. If you would preferred to have a photo taken at church we will have a sign-up sheet on the table near the elevator.
It is important that you follow these instructions:
1. Photo must be 4x6"
2. Photo must be horizontal
3. Photo should be a close-up
4. Print names on back of photo and we will make a label for the front
5. Please bring your photo to church and replace your old one.
New members can find a spot on the wall and we will arrange them alphabetically in December.
